With just over a week to go until the inaugural Black Excellence Awards are handed out in Chatham-Kent, tickets are selling fast.
Organizers say there are just a handful of seats left for the February 10th gala, being held in the Derby Room of the Retro Suites Hotel in Chatham.
Meantime, the clock is ticking on voting for the awards themselves with 21 nominees vying for six honours, including Female of the year, Male of the year, Youth, Entrepreneur, Agriculturalist, and Citizen of the year. The deadline to cast a ballot is tomorrow, February 1st.
