Wage Subsidy Program Now Available

Applications are now open for the federal government’s $73 billion wage subsidy program aimed to help businesses across the country.
The program covers up to 75% of wages and is also open to charities and non-profit organizations – as long as they’ve seen a minimum 30% drop in revenue.
The program covers up to $847 per week per employee.
The subsidy is currently available for a three month period and is retroactive to March 15th.
Prime Minister Trudeau says the first payments should roll out on May 7th.
Canadians can NOT receive BOTH the wage subsidy AND the Canada Emergency Response Benefit.
