Mayor Randy Hope has something in store for Wallaceburg’s Memorial Arena this year, with council’s support. 
Hope says he’s been listening to residents’ concerns about the arena’s dressing rooms and atrium.
“I was at a few games and you hear it from residents, and we try to spend money so people see the value in their tax dollars,” Hope says. “The important thing is we’re spending these types of moneys in our communities and it’s important people are utilizing it. Citizens come together and work together to make the arena more viable.”
According to Hope, he’s going to bring something forward to this year’s budget deliberations.
