Wallaceburg Drug Bust Leads to Trafficking Charges

Charges have been laid in connection to a drug bust in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Police and OPP officers carried out a search of a Fraser Street property Wednesday afternoon, seizing roughly $4700 in cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone, and MDMA (ecstasy.)

Police also found scales, packaging material, and a large amount of Canadian currency.

Four people were arrested at the scene, three of whom were later released unconditionally.

A 60-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with two counts of drug possession and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He was released from custody with conditions and a date in court on June 23rd.
