Wallaceburg Fire Not Suspicious

Investigators are back at the scene of this week’s deadly fire on Nelson Street, sifting through the ashes as they search for evidence.

While the exact cause remains under investigation, Chatham-Kent Police now say there is nothing suspicious about the blaze.

Fire fighters discovered a body in an upper story apartment unit Tuesday morning.

An autopsy was performed in London yesterday, but at the family’s request, the victim’s name will not be released.
