Wallaceburg House Fire Causes 80 K In Damage

Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services responded to a house fire in Wallaceburg Saturday night.

The blaze broke out around 7 p.m. on Gordon Street.

Two stations responded and discovered the fire had broken out in an upstairs bedroom.

They were able to knock the fire down quickly an remained on scene to check for any flare ups.

There were no injuries.

The fire has been ruled accidental and damage is pegged at about $80,000 dollars.
