A Wallaceburg man has been arrested, accused of using stolen credit cards.
Police responded to Cemetery Road in Wallaceburg shortly before 9 o’clock Tuesday morning about a theft from a vehicle. Authorities say a wallet containing ID and credit cards was reported stolen.
Investigators learned several attempts had been made to use and take out cash advances from one of the cards at a number of businesses in the area, and police were able to use video surveillance to identify a suspect.
A 33-year-old man was then found and arrested. He’s charged with possession of stolen property, failing to comply with a release order, two counts of unauthorized use of a credit card, and two counts of drawing documents without authority.
