Wallaceburg Man Charged with First Degree Murder

A Wallaceburg man has been arrested, charged with first-degree murder.

Emergency crews responded to an Elgin Street home at 1:44 Saturday morning and say a 64-year-old man was found deceased with an apparent injury.

The following day, a 68-year-old man was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.

No other details have been released, however police say this was an isolated incident, the victim and accused knew one another, and at no time was there any concern for public safety.
