
A local woman is facing charges following a break-and-enter in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a James Street address on Thursday shortly before 11 a.m. after a homeowner discovered that their window had been smashed. A woman was also found inside the home.
Using a description provided by the homeowner, police were able to locate and arrest a suspect.
A 32-year-old Chatham-Kent woman is now charged with mischief under $5,000 and break-and-enter to commit an indictable offence. She was later released with conditions and a June court date.
