Wallaceburg Woman Arrested For Shoplifting

A Wallaceburg woman was arrested Tuesday, after police say she was involved in a shoplifting incident at Home Hardware in Chatham.

A Chatham-Kent patrol officer noticed her riding a bike on Dufferin Ave, and took her into custody.

33 year old Tracy Bechard of Bluewater Line in Wallaceburg was charged with theft under $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000.

She was released with an October 24^th court date.
