
After more than three years, a Wallaceburg woman accused in the death of a Dover Township man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Kourtny Audette appeared by video link in court this morning to enter the plea.
The now 28-year-old was originally charged with first degree murder in connection to the stabbing death of Nick Laprise in a Book Street home on April 18, 2018. The court heard 24-year-old Laprise suffered a stab would to the chest.
The case faced multiple delays as Audette underwent psychological evaluations.
The case will be back in court August 20th to set a date for sentencing submissions.
