Habitat for Humanity is raising the walls on the Charing Cross build.
Nancy McDowell, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent says that raising the walls is a tradition for the organization, and likens it to a barn raising. She says it’s great to have volunteers and donors from the community come out and support one of their own.
Volunteers and and a group from the Home Builders Association began work this morning on the home.
The house is scheduled for completion at the end of the summer.
