A Walpole Island First Nation man is $100,000 richer after winning the top price with Instant Block-O.
Kenneth Riley said he plans to use his lottery winnings to build a home.
“This is a dream come true,” he told the Ontario Lotter Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. “I won this prize two days before my birthday. It’s my first big win.”
The 38-year-old is a regular lottery player and said he burst into tears when the winning number came up on his ticket.
“We double-checked the win on the OLG App and we cried tears of joy together. I’m so glad I was able to share that moment with family,” said Riley.
The winning ticket was purchased at Ann’s Convenience & Video on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
