A Harwich Township man has been arrested after a run-in with Chatham-Kent Police.
Officers were called to Merritt Avenue in Chatham Thursday afternoon after receiving information about a man wanted on multiple warrants.
Police found the accused, but say the suspect tried to run. He was quickly stopped and taken into custody. After a search, police say the accused was carrying suspected methamphetamine and cocaine.
The 38-year-old is charged with two counts of drug possession as well as charges related to previous release orders.
He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
