More than $2.2 million in upgrades are coming to Chatham’s water pollution control facilities.
Two major projects are earmarked for the Chatham water pollution control plant, along with upgrades and maintenance at Chatham Pump Stations 1 and 5.
The federal government is chipping in half of the cost, with the remainder split between the province and Chatham-Kent PUC.
The work, which includes ventilation and electrical system upgrades, is expected to be completed early in the new year.
