A double-decker bus made its way around Chatham earlier this afternoon to celebrate United Way co-chair Patricia Wright’s recent success.
As we told you last week on CKXS, Wright was recently won gold in women’s para-karate at the World Karate Championships in Austria.
It was Wright’s first appearance at the World Championships and Canada’s first gold medal finish.
Today’s brief tour, dubbed the Victory Lap, included visits to the Brain Injury Association’s New Beginnings Clubhouse and the United Way office in Chatham.
