A call from a concerned citizen has left a Chatham woman with charges.
Police were contacted shortly after 4 Monday afternoon about a woman in a parking lot on King Street East and officers were dispatched to conduct a well-being check.
As it turns out, authorities say the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft and possession of stolen property.
The 50-year-old was arrested and released with a date in court next month.
