An Ontario-based credit union is recognizing local gardeners and businesses who have taken the time to make their communities a little greener.
In an effort to inspire and boost community pride, the WFCU Credit Union is asking residents in several communities, including Chatham-Kent, to submit their gardens or nominate someone else through the Bloom Garden Recognition Program.
The beautification project will acknowledge local gardeners and businesses for their contributions by providing a sign to proudly place in their bloom-worthy garden.
Applications will be accepted until August through WFCU’s online portal. For more information, click here.
