The mid-week Christmas Day and New Year’s Day throws a bit of a wrench in the schedules across Chatham-Kent.
All municipal offices will be closed as of noon today through December 26, and again starting at noon on December 31 and reopening on January 2.
The Chatham-Kent Museum, Thames Art Gallery and ARTspace will be closed December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1. The Milner House will be closed December 24 through January 1.
All public libraries will be closed December 24-26 and December 31st and January 1.
All the arenas are closed for Christmas Day, but Blenheim is open Christmas Eve, on December 26th
Blenheim, Chatham Memorial, WK Erickson, and Thames Campus arenas are open.
December 31 – Free skates will take place at Blenheim, Ridgetown, Tilbury, and Wallaceburg arenas.
Curbside garbage and recycling collection services will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week from December 25 and January 1, respectively.
CK Transit isn’t running in Dec 25,26 and 1st.
If you have to head state side over the holidays, the Walpole ferry has you covered.
The Ferry will be running from 6:50am to 7pm Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, 8:50am to 9pm Christmas Day and regular hours on Boxing day. On New Year’s Day it’s 8:50am to 10pm.
