About Simple Plan Foundation
The members of Simple Plan have used their global popularity for good by starting the Simple Plan Foundation, which raises money for a variety of charities. Established in 2005, the Simple Plan Foundation works to support youth through the difficult passage to adulthood, encouraging youth to find their life’s passion. The Foundation also supports youth living with life threatening illnesses through their collaboration with music therapy programs. In 2009, proceeds from the sale of the band’s single, Save You, were distributed to various cancer charities. Most recently, the Foundation donated $10,000 towards the Red Cross in support of the Japan earthquake and tsunami relief effort.
