With a couple of windy days ahead, there’s the potential for more flooding along the Lake Erie Shoreline.
The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority has issued another flood outlook, calling for high winds topping 40 kilometres an hour today, which could bring strong waves and flooding.
The wind is expected to peek around 65 kilometres an hour on Thursday.
Officials say waves aren’t expected to be more than a meter high today, and the predicted conditions are similar to, or slightly less, than what has been experienced during the wind events over the last few weeks.
However, people should take extra caution and avoid the shoreline should conditions get rough.
