Old Man Winter is giving Chatham-Kent a warning shot today.
A cold front will be moving across the area through the day, causing the temperature to plunge below freezing by evening.
Scattered showers will change to flurries and create icy and slippery conditions, which could make for messy conditions on area roads.
According to Environment Canada, we could see local blowing snow as the wind gusts to 60 km/hr overnight, with the potential for about two centimeters of snow on the ground.
Drivers are urged to take care.
