A Wallaceburg woman is facing charges in connection to a stolen vehicle and police chase.
Authorities say the vehicle was taken from outside a Dufferin Avenue convenience store shortly after 9 o’clock Sunday night.
Officers were able to quickly track down the vehicle and tried to pull over the driver, who allegedly refused to stop.
A tire-deflation device was deployed and the driver was taken into custody.
A 25-year-old woman is now facing charges of motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property over $5000, and flight from a police officer.
She was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
