A local woman was forced to sleep it off in a cell after she was allegedly found walking into traffic in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to conduct a well-being check on Murray Street at around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police located the woman and found that she was intoxicated and unable to care for herself.
She was arrested for public intoxication, transported to police headquarters and held until sober.
