A Chatham woman is facing charges after allegedly causing property damage.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Park Street residence shortly after 6 a.m. on Wednesday, after a woman went on the property, removed a plant from the front yard and threw it onto the lawn.
Authorities reviewed surveillance footage of the incident and identified a suspect who was bound by release conditions that prohibited communications with the victims and avoiding causing a disturbance.
Officers later located and arrested a 48-year-old Chatham woman who is now charged with mischief under $5,000 and breach of recognizance. She will answer the charges in court at a later date.
