A Chatham Township woman has turned herself in to police following an assault.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Longwoods Road address in Chatham Township at around 10 p.m. on February 28 regarding the assault.
Following an investigation, police issued a warrant for the arrest of the 21-year-old accused when she could not be located.
The Chatham Township woman turned herself in at police headquarters at around 10:30 a.m. on Monday. She is now charged with assault, assault with a weapon, mischief, and three counts of failing to comply with a release order. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
