A local woman has been charged following a suspicious person complaint in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service was called by a homeowner on First Street shortly before 9 p.m. on Monday after an unknown woman was seen in their backyard.
Officers arrived at the home and arrested the woman who was also in possession of multiple stolen items.
A 29-year-old Wallaceburg woman is now charged with theft. She has since been released from custody and will answer the charge in court next month.
