A woman is facing charges after a suspicious vehicle was found parked near a farm south of Chatham.

Chatham-Kent Police got a call just after 10 yesterday morning after a homeowner approached the truck on Bloomfield Road and the driver took off on foot.

Officers later found the accused hiding under an evergreen tree on Sixteenth Line.

Authorities say it turns out the truck had been stolen, as were the license plates.

Along with charges in connection to the stolen truck, police say the 29-year-old has also been traced back to an incident at a local motel last month.
