Woman Injured After Being Dragged Through an Intersection

Charges have been laid after a woman was dragged by a car.

According to police, the woman was riding home with her partner Monday afternoon when the two got into an argument.

Things turned physical as they were stopped at an intersection. Police say the victim grabbed her belongings and got out of the car, but realizing she’d left her keys behind, she tried to grab them through the window.

The driver allegedly rolled up the window, trapping the woman’s arm, and hit the gas, dragging the victim about 30 feet before her arm came loose and she fell to the road.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The driver, a 35-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
