An arrest has been made after a dispute between two women ended with one punching the other in the face.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Chatham residence on Fifth Line shortly before 1 a.m. on Friday following the assault.
When officers arrived, a 49-year-old Chatham woman was found with visible injuries to her face after being struck. The other woman left the scene in the vehicle before police arrived.
A 34-year-old Chatham woman was later located and arrested. She is now charged with one count of assault and was held in custody for a bail hearing.
