The lack of 401 barriers is the focus of a town hall style meeting planned for the end of the month in Chatham.

The brainchild of Allyson Storey, the meeting goes at the Active Lifestyle Nov. 30th at 7:30pm.

“We’re going to be talking about next steps, what we can each do as citizens,” says Storey.  “As well we’re going to have a discussion with people who are experts in their fields, and 401 safety. People like; law enforcement, first responders, engineers.”

Storey began her campaign to get the barriers built when a friend of hers died on the 401 with her daughter when they were hit by a truck that crossed the centre median. Local MPP Rick Nicholls and MPP for Elgin-Middlesex-London, Jeff Yuerk, will be in attendance. Everybody is invited.
