A little home grown comedy is coming to the Kiwanis Theatre Monday with the release of a TV show created in Chatham-Kent.
Bushwhackers follows the exploits of a grounds crew on a course.
One of the creators is Mike Pickard, whose father runs Maple City golf course.
The other Brad McDonald works in the film industry.
McDonald says, “I went to film school and then I kind of worked in the industry for a few years. I’ve always wanted to do this idea. Mike and I got together last spring, and we started to brainstorm some ideas. We wrote a script, and the next thing we knew, we were filming”.
Tickets for the show are $10 and are available at the box office or calling Badder Bus.
