A job fair is being held next month as the municipality faces a shortage of building inspectors. 
Officials say there’s a lack of inspectors across Ontario, due to the natural progression of baby-boomers leaving the workforce and tighter provincial regulations.
The job fair will be held from Thursday July 13 from 6 to 8pm in Council Chambers at the Civic Centre, with a preference given to those with a background in construction or engineering.
