It’s been a busy week for snow plow operators in Chatham-Kent.

Director of Public Works, Miguel Pelltier says they’ve been working around the clock to get the roads cleared.

“Since the event started last night, and the one before, we’ve had a lot of plows out. You can see where the plows are and where they’ve been through our Plow Tracker tool. We’ve had plows on 24/7 since the beginning of the first snow fall, and they’ll be out most of today as well”, says Pelltier.

Pelltier says it costs an average of $400,000 to clear all of the roads across the municipality.
