College officials are looking for a $250,000 commitment from council to put toward a $2-million build at the Thames Campus.

The plan, which could hinge on federal funding, calls for an 8,000 square foot facility to be completed in 2018.

When the Powerline Training program opened in 2011, there were just 24 students enrolled in the program.  Now there are 145.

The request comes to council tonight.
