Essex County OPP are investigating a fatal collision that took place early Saturday morning on County Road 42 at Patillo Road in Lakeshore.
Police say an East bound vehicle was turning left onto Patillo Road when it collided with a Westbound motorcycle.
The male driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
That area of County road 42 will be closed for several hours as the OPP Traffic Collision Investigative Unit is now on scene.
Charges are pending against the 23 year old male driver of the motor vehicle.
