Another big donation has come in to support The Final Push, a 1000 km bike trek across southwestern Ontario to raise money for the Foundation of CKHA diagnostic imaging campaign.

Brown’s Auto Supply is donating $5,000 to the cause.

Campaign Co-chair Dave Depencier says they’ve been overwhelmed by the support they’ve received so far.

“We’ve done a lot of things with the Home Builders Association in the past as well, so we always set the bar pretty high,” Depencier says. “The community has really embraced not only our event, but the campaign itself. We’re not don yet – who know what we can get? We’re excited to do as much as we can along the way,” says Depencier.

Dave and Dan Van Moorsel set out from the Sydenham Campus at 8:00 next Wednesday morning, and hope to have raised $100,000 by the time they return to Chatham-Kent six days later.
