The Municipality is supporting the Hospice and their request for a loan from CIBC. 
Chatham-Kent Council approved a loan guarantee for the Hospice so that they can clear an existing loan with the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
The Hospice is seeking bank loan just shy of $400,000, with Chatham-Kent as the guarantor.
The Municipality is confident that the Hospice will be able to pay back the loan in less than 3 years.
