Brook Smith is hoping to find a lot of lacrosse moms who would like to join together and help grow the game among the kids here in Wallaceburg. They’re starting a lacrosse moms group.
“Were hoping to give back to the organization, so we’re hoping to do some fundraising and sale of apparel,” says Smith. “So our goal is to keep the costs down for the kids and allow kids to play the game so we’re looking to increase awareness of the game and create opportunity for all youth to be involved in the sport.”
They are holding a logo contest this weekend, they are asking kids to come up with a logo for the group and they can email it to Wallaceburglacrossemoms@gmail.com. The deadline is Monday November 9th.
