The Chatham Rotary Club is preparing to welcome some new leadership.
Tania Sharpe is the group’s incoming president, taking over the reins on July first.
“I think it’s time that we work on a bit of a strategic plan so that we decide as a club what direction we want to go in the few years,” says Sharpe. “We’ve done a lot of fabulous projects,but we don’t really have anything on deck in the next few years so we’d like to see where the club would like to go.”
Yesterday marked the so-called swan song for outgoing president Alysson Storey, who says she’ll spend the next week tying up loose ends to ease the transition for Sharpe.
