The Chatham-Kent Harvest Run goes today.

The annual event gets underway at the John Mcgregor Secondary School this morning and runs through 2pm.

Organizer Tom Slager says he’s looking forward to a great day.

“We’re looking at having well over 200 runners again this year,” says Slager. “And it’s going to raise around 20,000 again for the campaign.”

A harvest time 1/2 marathon, 5/10K run, 5K walk, and kids’ dash, with the funds donated to theĀ United Way of Chatham-Kent.
