Hundreds of people took part in the second annual Pumpkinfest, held in Wallaceburg over the weekend. The festivities included lots of activities for kids, entertainment, and contests for the biggest pumpkin.

Bill Bechard with the Bluewater Growers and Throwers says the winner tipped the scales at over 1500 pounds. Bechard says he fully expects the event to return for a third year in 2017.
