musicAfter a multi-year hiatus The Glass Onion Folk Club concert series is back.

The brainchild of John Gardiner and his wife, the couple decided to get back into the music promotion scene.

Gardiner says it started about 25 years ago.

“We brought some of the top Canadian musical talent to Wallaceburg over that time.  Names like Murray McLaughlin Valdy, Sylvia Tyson. Some big names and lots of little ones,” notes Gardiner. “All people that were really talented. We did that with the arts council. We both used to be very involved with the Wallacebug Council for the Arts.”

Tonight’s show, which gets underway at 8 o’clock tonight at the James Street Eatery, features Canadian blues artist Tim Williams.
