$1.8 Million for CK Child Care Spaces

$1.8 million is coming to the Lambton-Kent District School Board, thanks to the Ministry of Education.

Announced yesterday, $1.6 million of the investment will go to 49 child care spaces at Indian Creek Road Public School in Chatham through the Early Years Capital Funding Program.

Another $264,000 is going to Wheatley Area Public School for the creation of 10 spaces.

The school board is working with the Ministry to develop a plan for the construction and renovations at the two schools.
