CK Public Health is reporting one new case of the coronavirus in Chatham-Kent on Friday. There are no new recoveries in today’s report, bringing the “active” case count to 29. No Chatham-Kent residents are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
The active cases are comprised of 11 close contact transmissions, 11 infections linked to an unnamed workplace outbreak, three cases are pending, two are unknown, one is travel-related and one is connected to a place of worship outbreak.
Chatham-Kent has had 446 total cases with 414 recoveries and three deaths through the pandemic.
Across the province, Ontario reported 19 deaths and 1,396 new infections with 116 in public school settings. Toronto and Peel regions each had 440 new cases, with 155 in York, 91 in Ottawa, 55 in Halton and 41 in Durham.
