$10-Million in Provincial Funding for Farm PPE

The provincial government is spending $10-million to help out farmers during this ongoing pandemic.

The money will go to farmers and those in the agri-industry to purchase more personal protective equipment, enhanced cleaning and to redesign workstations to better protect workers.

Under the new Enhanced Agri-food Workplace Protection Program any employer that hires 3 or more employees will be eligible for funding.

More information and applications will be available April 22nd when the intake opens. The program will cover costs retroactive to March 13th of this year.

Applications will be accepted through the end of November.
