A local men’s group is supporting youth programming in Chatham-Kent.

The local chapter of 100 Men Who Care recently handed over a cheque for $10,400 to the W.I.S.H. Centre in Chatham.

The community centre has been operating since 1996, providing youth programming after school, during March Break, on professional development days and during summer holidays.

The non-profit facility is open to all children in the area and provides them with food, homework support, shelter and safety.

The organization was chosen by the group’s members as their charity of choice during their most recent meeting, with each member contributing $100 to the cause.
