Suspected Impaired Driver Arrested in St. Clair Township

A Mitchell’s Bay resident is facing drunk driving charges after being pulled over by provincial police in St. Clair Township.

While on general patrol the evening of February 20, an officer with Lambton OPP conducted a traffic stop on Kimball Road, north of Tulloch Line.

A 39-year-old was arrested and charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, and failure or refusal to comply with a demand.

The driver was also issued a 90 day license suspension and had their vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused was released from custody, but will be back in a Sarnia courtroom to answer the charges in early April.
