A Chatham teen will have to answer to a judge in court following the theft of a scooter.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said residents on Bordeaux Place in Chatham reported that the scooter had been taken from their garage on Monday at around 7 p.m.
Officers conducted an investigation and located a suspect, along with the stolen scooter.
As a result, a 13-year-old Chatham boy was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and break-and-enter. He was later released with a future court date.
