18 COVID Patients Remain in Hospital in CK

COVID numbers are holding steady at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance this week.

The latest report shows 18 patients with COVID-19 in hospital, six of whom are being treated primarily for the virus. There is just one COVID patient in critical care, being treated in the progressive care unit.

Those 18 patients with the virus range in age from 52 to 98.

Across Ontario, there are 834 people hospitalized with COVID-19, 267 of whom are being treated in ICU.

A closer look at COVID trends and outbreaks across Chatham-Kent will be released by Public Health on Friday.
